That's really what I wanted to let people know by writing this journal. I also have some updates, like the fact that I now have Photoshop on my home computer now, and not just on my school laptop. I also have a PS3 now, with GTA IV and Assassin's Creed. I'm playing it on a shitty old tv, but it still looks really cool. The Playstation has also replaced our dvd player, but now I'm the only one who can navigate the menu, because my dad doesn't know how to use the controls. Or I at least have to walk him through it. As I build up a larger collection of games, I hope to become a more serious video gamer. I've got my sights on the Orange Box with Half-Life 2 and Portal next. I'm extremely lucky that they at least made those available on the newer consoles.

I also have a new fat, black cat named Albert(Because "Albert" seems to be the most common name for fat, black people. And that's not racist, it's just observation). We also call him Big Al. He's sleeping under my electric blanket right now. There will be no pictures here on dA, but if you just HAVE to see him, I could set something up on Photobucket or Myspace.

The main reason I haven't been active here is, besides school, there's not much to do or gain. I rarely ever get any feedback on my submissions, and my favourite deviant got banned for being a nazi. It's a wonder I don't just leave and find a better art sharing site, it's just that I have friends on here.

It's like this big black hole that eats up all my time and energy. I've hardly had any time to work on anything non-school related and all my projects are on hold for now. I've been waking up at five in the morning every day and sometimes I just fall right asleep when I get home.

Not that some of my classes aren't fun or interesting, or that I don't like my teachers. It just takes a lot out of a person, no matter how old they are. We also had parent/teacher conferences recently. One of my teachers told my dad that I'm one of the smartest students he's ever had. It's flattering, but that puts a lot of goddamn pressure on me! D: Because now if I do something stupid, which, me being a teenager is almost bound to happen, people are going to be even more disappointed with me.

But, yeah, that's why I haven't posted anything. I might add some stuff I did for my classes in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator later, though. Maybe even a poem I had to do for English. Apparently it was my teacher's favourite one or something

So I just got Photoshop on my school laptop today. I've been playing around with it and it's amazing what I can do using the simplest of methods. I just did a really awsome looking manip of a photo of my coyote skull, Yorkie. When I get a USB drive I'll transfer it to my PC and upload it(DeviantArt is blocked on my laptop, even at home, 'cause my school is run by a bunch of bastards).

I really think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this. I also have Adobe Illustrator now, I haven't played with that yet. I'm excited now, at all the magical wonders that await you all
